Booking a hall, centre, garden or park

Wollongong City Council provides a range of facilities for hire, including:

• halls and centres;
• gardens and parks.

Most of our facilities are managed by community groups. These groups are made up of local residents, elected by the community. In most cases each group decides the conditions of hire and fees and charges for their particular facility.

How to book

1. Phone the contact number and arrange a time to visit the facility. Note: many of the groups do not have a paid worker, and may only be able to return your call when a volunteer is available.
2. During your visit you will be informed about the:
   • conditions of hire;
   • fees and charges;
   • key pickup arrangements;
   • parking, disabled access, kitchen facilities, visual and audio equipment and other equipment (if applicable).
3. Complete the booking application form and pay the deposit.
