Wollongong City Council has welcomed the finalisation of a major plan for Wollongong’s city centre.  This plan has now been gazetted by the New South Wales Minister for Planning.  Within the framework of the plan, Wollongong will undertake a major revitalisation including such major improvements to the city centre, the historic Belmore Basin harbour, the Wollongong station and railway precinct, the civic and cultural precinct and more.
