Santa Claus came to town last weekend, and on Thursday 24 November the jolly fellow will flick the switch on lights on the City Centre's brand new Christmas tree.
The free family event starts at 6pm, with carolling from the Wollongong Harmony Chorus and dance performances from the Joanne Grace School of Dance.
Wollongong City Lord Mayor Councillor Gordon Bradbery OAM will make a guest appearance, and Santa arrives at 7pm on a Harley Davidson.
The lights on the nine-metre Christmas tree will be switched on at 8pm.
Dig out the candles, tinsel and Santa hats, Wollongong City Council is hosting a number of carols by candlelight singalongs this festive season. And it doesn't matter if you come along to one, or come along to them all...
