As well as organising our own program of events, Council acts as the consent authority for many events organised by other people. This role includes things like approving development applications, traffic changes, and bookings for public spaces.
The list below shows events in our area that Council is aware of which may affect the broader community due to impacts including, but not limited to:
- Road closures
- Traffic congestion
- Increased crowds
- High demand or limited availability of parking
- The use of shared pathways, open spaces and other public amenities.
