New Year's Eve - Saturday 31 December 2011

New Year's celebrations went off with a bang at Wollongong Harbour on 31 December. Thousands of people headed to the foreshore area to make the most of the entertainment and activities, which were part of the family-friendly event presented by Wollongong City Council and IMB.

The 9.30pm fireworks were the highlight of the evening, as a the mutli-coloured display lit up the harbour area.
