Live music, roving performers, face painting, amusement rides, and food and novelty stalls provide a lively atmosphere in the lead-up to our fireworks spectacular at 9pm.

New Year's Eve 2017 is an accessible event
Our 2017 New Year’s Eve celebrations will include some features to assist people with disabilities to attend. For details visit our accessible event page.
We recommend catching the train to Fairy Meadow, North Wollongong or Wollongong stations, and then jumping on the free Gong Shuttle Bus.

Between 4pm - 10.15pm on New Year's Eve the following roads will be closed:
Between 8.30pm - 9.30pm lower Endeavour Drive will also be closed.
Businesses within the road closure zone will be open as normal.
Stallholder and Vendor applications now open!
We're inviting food stallholders and novelty vendors to participate by selling a variety of foods and products to contribute to the fun of New Year's Eve. If you'd like to hold a stall at this event you can now apply online.
Before submitting an application, make sure you have the following information ready:
- A copy of your Public Liability Insurance certificate of currency as an image or in PDF format
- Credit card details to complete payment online and lodge your application
- For food vendors:
- NSW Food Authority Number
- Wollongong City Council Food Business Number
- Food Safety Supervisor Number.

Sites will be allocated on a first-in basis if there are duplications of stall type. Local vendors will be given priority, and applications will be confirmed via email from Council's event coordinator.
If you require more than one site, a separate application will be required for each site.
