Quick Launch

New Year's Eve

Print this Page

On Monday 31 December 2018, we will celebrate New Years Eve at Belmore Basin with a family-friendly, alcohol-free event.

Our plans are coming together for a circus inspired New Year's Eve celebration for 2018.

There will be live music, circus performers, face painting, amusement rides, and food and novelty stalls to provide a lively atmosphere in the lead-up to our fireworks spectacular at 9pm.

A huge thanks to our naming rights sponsor for this coming event, Acorn Lawyers!

We'd also like to thank our corporate sponsor for 2018 New Year's Eve, South Coast BMW

Stallholder and Vendor applications now open!

We're inviting food stallholders and novelty vendors to participate by selling a variety of foods and products to contribute to the fun of New Year's Eve. If you'd like to hold a stall at this event you can now apply online.

Before submitting an application, make sure you have the following information ready:

  • A copy of your Public Liability Insurance certificate of currency as an image or in PDF format
  • Credit card details to complete payment online and lodge your application
  • For food vendors:
    • Wollongong City Council Food Business Number

When you're ready to apply, click the link below to go to our online form:

Vendor Application Form

Sites will be allocated on a first-in basis if there are duplications of stall type. Local vendors will be given priority, and applications will be confirmed via email from Council's event coordinator.

If you require more than one site, a separate application will be required for each site.

Keeping your Stall Waste Wise

Council suggests that all stallholders take steps to avoid and minimise waste at community events such as Australia Day. Find out more here.

Wollongong City Council encourages the use of alternatives to using balloons at outdoor events in order to prevent them from entering our marine environment. To find out more contact our Events Team on (02) 4227 7111.

Accessible Events: Inclusive Stalls

Wollongong City Council is committed to making our events as accessible as possible. Stallholders and vendors are encouraged to read our Stallholders and Vendors Accessibility Fact Sheet [14 KB]
