As part of Council’s Inner City Parking Strategy, a new surface carpark is being constructed comprising approximately 80 car spaces, at the corner of Keira and Ellen Streets Wollongong with a proposed opening date of 31 January 2011.

Expressions of interest in obtaining a paid parking space in the new carpark are now open and can be made by contacting Council on 4227 7462 during business hours.

The spaces will be paid parking during the hours 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays). Fees for parking will be in accordance with Council’s Management Plan (Fees and Charges) and are reviewed annually.  The current fee is $70.00 (GST inclusive) per month.

Allocation of parking spaces will be made on a ‘first to register, first to be offered’ basis.
