People travelling to the northern suburbs from the city centre now catch their bus from Blue bus stops located on the western side of Keira Street (near Bing Lee) and at the top of McCabe Park on Burelli Street.
Those travelling from the northern suburbs into the city centre will hop off at conveniently located Green bus stops on Keira Street (Wollongong Central) and Burelli Street (in front of the cinemas).
Red bus stops will cater for people heading to the western and southern suburbs, including Mt Keira, Figtree, Unanderra and Dapto. These stops are located on west Crown Street (in front of the Commonwealth Bank) and Burelli Street (opposite the cinemas).
People travelling into the city centre from these suburbs will be dropped off at Orange bus stops, located on west Crown Street (near Crown Lane) and Burelli Street (opposite MacCabe Park).
Bus zone signs at the stops are clearly marked with a different colour to help residents. Council is also creating new stops for all bus routes on Burelli Street in front of the Illawarra Performing Arts Centre and the Commonwealth Building.
The free Gong Shuttle is clearly signposted. Route 55a goes anti clockwise and Route 55c goes clockwise around the loop.
