Looking after our neglected or missing pets
We advise that, effective Monday 1 June 2009 the Wollongong City Council Animal Shelter in Montague Street, North Wollongong has closed.
All impounded animals are now the responsibility of the RSPCA Illawarra Animal Welfare Centre, Industrial Road, Unanderra (Phone: 4271 3410).
Stray or roaming animals can still be reported to Council on 4227 7111, as well as other issues such as dog barking or restricted/dangerous breeds.
