Older people and people living with a disability

Happy Wollongong couple

We recognise the right of everyone to play a vital role in the community and have access to the services they need to help maintain the best possible quality of life.

We provide and help coordinate a number of services for older people, people with disabilities and their carers. We’re also heavily involved with planning and developing new services based on the community’s needs, and providing information and representing the rights of people from these groups.

Our Ageing and Disability Services Community Development officers provide information and support to improve the lifestyle of older people, people with a disability and their carers. They also provide support to organisations and services working with older people and people with a disability.
