Having Problems Making a Secure Payment Online?

If you are attempting to pay your rates and are receiving a ‘Webpage unavailable’ error in Internet Explorer 6, 7 or 8, please follow the below instructions:

1. Open Internet Explorer®.
2. Go to the Tools menu item, scroll down and select Internet Options.
3. Select the Advanced tab on the far right of the Internet Options window.
4. Scroll down to the Security Section and enable "Use TLS 1.0" by checking it.
5. Click Apply and then OK, to close the Options window. Close Internet Explorer®.

*TLS (Transport Layer Security) is a protocol for establishing a secure connection between a client and a server.
