Draft flood study

We want your feedback on a flood study that looks at the future management of water catchments in Bulli, Woonona Heights, Woonona, Russell Vale, Corrimal, and Bellambi.

The creeks we’re looking at in the study include:

• Whartons Creek
• Collins Creek
• Farrahars Creek
• Bellambi Gully 
• Bellambi Lake.

Come along to one of our public information sessions at the Bulli Senior Citizens Centre on Thursday, 3 September or Thursday, 10 September, between 7pm and 9pm.

You can also find out more about the study and have your say by visiting the public displays at Thirroul, Corrimal and Wollongong Central libraries or calling Council.

You are invited to provide comments on the findings of draft flood study and on the floodplain management issues by completing the Questionnaire on the right. Please return the completed questionnaire by Friday 9 October 2009.
