Wollongong City Council allocates licences for operation and management of a number of its community centres and halls to community organisations. Coniston Community Centre was previously managed by a community group and the management of this facility was returned to Council on 1 July 2011. Under section 601F of the Local Government Act 1993 Council is required to exhibit fees and charges for the use of this facility for a period of 28 days.
The proposed fees and charges are on public exhibition from 7 September to 7 October 2011, and can be viewed below.
