4/11/2010  - 26/11/2010
McCabe Park

Council has commenced planning for a Masterplan for MacCabe Park and is inviting you to contribute to the first stage discussions.

Some ideas for you to think about before filling in the survey.

  • What do you think are the ingredients to a successful open space, such as this Inner City Park?
  • What could be done to make it a key destination in Wollongong?
  • What could be done to make this park uniquely 'Wollongong'? Is this Important?
  • How do you differentiate it from the Botanical Gardens, the Harbour or Lang Park?

Council has engaged the NSW Government Architects Office (GAO) to design concept plans which will continue the future development of this important Inner City Park. All feedback from the stage 1 consultation will be presented back directly to GAO before work commences on the concept plans.
