Planning Proposals - Lot 1 Cater Street Coledale and 2 Allen Street Austinmer.
Exhibition Period is Monday, 25 October - Monday, 22 November 2010.
Council is inviting feedback on two Planning Proposals which seek to amend Wollongong Local Environmental Plan 2009 in the following manner:
1. Lot 1 Cater Street Coledale - Lot 1 DP 214702
Proposal: An amendment to Schedule 1 - Additional Permitted Uses is proposed, to permit (with development consent) the subdivision of the property into 3 allotments and the erection of a dwelling-house on the middle allotment.
2. Former Austinmer Bowling Club Site, 2 Allen Street, and part of 20 & 22 Toxteth Avenue, Austinmer - Lot 3 DP 881418 and Part Lots 1 & 2 DP 881418
Proposal: The rezoning of the site from RE2 Private Recreation to R2 Low Density Residential.
A maximum permissible floor space ratio of 0.5:1, and a minimum lot size of 450m², is proposed for the site.

The Planning Proposal for Lot 1 Cater Street, Coledale proposes to make permissible a 3 lot subdivision and the erection of one (1) dwelling upon a created (vacant) lot (subject to development approval).
The Planning Proposal to rezone the former Austinmer Bowling Club site proposes to allow for future low density residential development on the site (subject to development consent).
