This planning proposal is to rezone part of the site [455-459 Princes Highway, Woonona (Lot 2 DP 830398), 15 Nicholson Road (Lot 2 DP 572839) and 7 Nicholson Road (Lot 1 DP 524220)] from SP3 Tourist to R3 Medium Density Residential.

Statement about SP3 Tourist Zoning: The site is not considered a significant tourism site and hence this zoning is no longer appropriate. The rezoning of this site to allow residential development will have minimal impact on the total supply of land in the Wollongong LGA for tourism purposes, with 105.74 hectares of SP3 land remaining.
