This Sunday, 23 January, relax in the sun at Belmore Basin and listen to local musicians at the first Beats by the Sea for 2011.

Wollongong City Council’s Beats by the Sea is the perfect way to end your summer’s weekend with live entertainment starting at 2pm.

Be entertained all afternoon with the three local acts on offer.

• Nicole Brophy at 2pm
• Concord Community Band at 3pm
• The Merchants at 4pm

Council’s Events Coordinator, Lee Cramer, said that Beats by the Sea is a fun way for locals to utilise our newly refurbished harbour and enjoy free local entertainment.

“Beats by the Sea is a great way for friends to catch up and enjoy the musicians; supporting the local music industry,” Ms Cramer said.

“Bring your picnic blanket or chair, and enjoy the live music and picturesque Blue Mile with your friends and family.”
