Following the recent bad weather, Wollongong City Council has had a large volume of requests to fix pot holes throughout the Local Government Area. 

Council is working through the list but we estimate it will take two weeks to get through all the current requests and will be prioritising pot holes based on the location of the road, also note that the repair work is also weather dependant.

In the wet cold mix can only be put down and this does not last as long as hot mix so it is only used a temporary fix for a dangerous hole,.

We appreciate the requests and information from the community particularly in the quieter streets.

Please note for potholes we only call residents back if either we are not sure on the location or we are not able to repair the problem. The patience of the community is appreciated during this kind of weather.
