Come down to Wollongong Harbour this Sunday afternoon for a free show from the indie/roots group, Money Killed Johnny.
The five-piece outfit, featuring band mates Steven Robinson, Ed Lee, Noah Hampson, Matt Bourne and Andrew ‘Rank’ Rankin, will perform on the steps near the children’s play area at Belmore Basin, from 3pm to about 7pm.
“Sitting back on a picnic blanket listening to live music is a great way to wrap up the weekend,” Wollongong City Lord Mayor Councillor Gordon Bradbery OAM said.
“I’d encourage people to come down and enjoy the harbour foreshore area. It’s certainly where all the action is this week because this performance is followed by Council’s massive Australia Day celebrations on Thursday 26 January.
“Council’s Australia Day festivities are always really popular – especially the impressive Endeavour Energy Fireworks Spectacular.”
