With plenty of games, art and craft you’ll not want to leave the library this summer and why not become a member of our summer reading club, where you can go in the draw to win a prize every time you borrow a book.
The summer book reading club is an initiative of Wollongong City Council to encourage young people to read, by joining the club you can go in the draw to win prizes, vouchers and invited to events.
Council’s Branch Libraries and Community Facilities Manager, Jan Noble said that there is a variety of activities on offer for children of all ages at the Thirroul Library throughout January.
“There is something on each week including story time, lego and Nintendo Wii, which will give parents time to relax and enjoy a book,” said Ms Noble.
“This summer we want to encourage all children to pick up a book and get them familiar with their local library.” Ms Noble added.
