Already, 4,500 people are employed in areas like superannuation administration, HR, call centres, software development and digital media. This investor tour will help further encourage growth in this sector.

Wollongong City Lord Mayor Councillor Gordon Bradbery OAM said it was vital Council was involved in events such as the tour, and the ongoing promotion of the city through Advantage Wollongong.

“Not only will these developers, retailers and architects see some of Wollongong’s top sites for potential development on Monday, they’ll also receive a copy of the Advantage Wollongong Investor Pack," Cr Bradbery said.

"This booklet outlines the reasons for investing in this city, and highlights some of the great work that is being done by Council, the Property Council and Advantage Wollongong to make this an even better place to invest, work and live."
