Wollongong City Council is calling for people who are interested in taking part in one of the city’s Neighbourhood Forums.
If you are a resident of Berkeley, Cringila, Lake Heights, Warrawong, Primbee, or Windang, then you might be interested in learning more about your local area. The forums are community groups that aim to:
- Share and express concerns & aspirations for their local area
- Support each other and promote the best interests of the community
- Find out about Council’s services, facilities and plans
- Provide feedback about current & future Council business.
Neighbourhood Forum 7 meets on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 6pm at Illawarra Yacht Club, 1 Northcliffe Drive, Warrawong, and the next meeting will be held on Tuesday 21 February.
A Neighbourhood Forum is a community group independent from Council which meets to discuss local issues. These groups will receive Council support as outlined in the Neighbourhood Forum Charter.
If you would like more information visit Council’s website or contact the Community Engagement Team on (02) 4227 7096.
