“Tickets for the opening concert always sell out fast. Tickets are $20.00 and include afternoon tea and performances from The Tornadoes and Johnny Devlin,” Ms Needham said.
“The concert will kick off the Seniors Week festivities and act as a ceremony for the United Nations Older Persons of the Year Award.”

Nominations for the United Nations Older Persons of the Year Award are still being accepted with entries closing Wednesday, 9 March 2011.
