The Wollongong Development Control Plan 2009 (DCP)outlines planning controls for the city.
It sets out specific controls and parameters that apply to development proposals.
The Wollongong DCP 2009 applies to all development proposals in Wollongong lodged from 3 March 2010.
This consolidated DCP combines 89 separate plans in one easy to navigate document. This will help make the planning process clearer and more consistent for residents, developers and planners.
With a consolidated and up to date DCP, Council and the community can be confident that future development in the city will reflect the community’s aspirations and be responsive to local site conditions or constraints.
