There are several halls/rooms available for hire at this community centre. The centre has been designed to suit the requirements of those with physical disabilities, and is accessible by both private and public transport.
Hire Purposes
Functions: weddings, balls, plays, parties, conferences, dances, etc
- Preparation and clean up time is charged at 1/2 hire cost rate
- Double bond is required for 'high risk' activities - see conditions of hire
- Security guards are required for 18th and 21st birthday parties and for other functions at the discretion of centre management
Activities: commercial, private, and government activities
Activities (non-profit): community based and charity activities

The centre can only be hired until 1am on any given day and must be vacated by this time.
Equipment Hire
Grand piano: $5.50 / hour
Stage lighting: $6.50 / hour
Data projector: $6.50 / hour
Data projector & screen: $7 / hour
Resources
Back courtyards: Available before 5pm for break-out room when using the meeting rooms. Hall hirers are to use the terrace area outside the hall foyer.
Available on request: Fixed PA System in halls, stage lighting, portable PA system, portable stage (4.88m x 1.83m x 60cm and 80cm high), TV/VCR/DVD, data projector, projection screens, whiteboards, crockery and cutlery and upright piano
Kitchen: Facilities available adjacent to Excelsior Hall
Tea/coffee making facilities: Available for all other rooms
Table size: 1800mm x 750mm, seats 6-8 persons
Garbage: Must be removed from the halls/rooms and placed into the large bins outside.
A/V equipment: Hirers must be proficient in the operation of all equipment as there is no audio/visual technician on site.
Not available: First aid kit. All users must provide their own first aid kit and equipment.
