Audio navigators 

The Audio Navigators have been designed for use by the elderly and people with visual impairment. They have large, easy to find buttons and controls.  The navigators are available for loan to current housebound customers who have difficulty reading print materials.  There are only 6 of these machines available at the moment.

Playaway

Playaway is the newest format of audiobook. When you borrow a Playaway, all you have to do is attach your headphones and press play to start listening immediately. It is the simplest way to enjoy an audiobook.

Each Playaway will contain a complete book & comes with an automatic bookmark function that remembers where you left off.

Earphones/buds are not provided but can be purchased from this library. Playaway has a universal ear jack so you can use your own earphones. It can also be plugged into portable speakers.

• There will be a borrowing limit of 2 Playaways per customer
• You will need to provide your own AAA batteries if the batteries in the player are missing or are flat
• Earphones/buds are available for $3.00 per set
