Book clubs

Book discussion groups are a great way to meet people, expand your reading tastes and learn more about what your library has to offer. Book discussion groups bring together people who love books and enjoy talking about what they read. The groups choose a wide range of books to read and meet once a month.

Book discussion groups are currently running at Corrimal, Dapto, Thirroul, Warrawong and Wollongong Libraries. To find out more about joining one of these groups or to get a list of what the groups are reading please speak to staff at the library.

Junior Book Club

The Junior Book Club is aimed at children 8-12 years of age. It is an informal get together to discuss your favorite books and authors. Each month there is a theme and you can choose a book from the selected book list. Participants are encouraged to read a short passage from their book and to discuss their likes or dislikes about the book. Lots of fun with interesting themes, guests and celebrations
