"Daisy Bank"
262-268 Princes Highway, Dapto
This house and its surrounds have a high level of architectural integrity that is rare in the Dapto area. It is weatherboard with wide verandahs on two sides and has a corrugated metal roof. It has architectural, aesthetic and historic significance.
Former Illawarra Lake Hotel
7-9 Prince Edward Drive Brownsville
This is a 2 storey Victorian Tudor style building with rendered brickwork and twin gables. It is a prominent building in the township of Dapto, significant as a former hotel with historic origins and of rare and unusual style. The original license was for the "Ship Inn" in 1830 this was transferred in 1834 to "Brownsvilles Ship Inn". This building burnt down and was rebuilt in 1840 and named the "Illawarra Lake Hotel".
Osborne Memorial Church of St Luke
Prince Edward Drive Brownsville
The foundation stone for this Anglican Church was laid in July 1880 and it wasn’t until November 1882 that the church was opened and consecrated. It is a brick building with a tile roof. Originally it had a Flemish slate roof. The brickwork is Flemish bond it has a dominant belfry with intricate brickwork. This is a J. Horby Hunt building demonstrating the late Victorian Romanesque style. It is of considerable architectural townscape value. This building is also associated with many of the pioneering families of Dapto. The Osborne family in memory of their parents of "Marshall Mount" commissioned it.
"Horsley"
Bong Bong Road, West Dapto
This house was built in 1850. It is a stuccoed brick building on stone footings with a slate hipped roof. The original house had 4 rooms with a central hall, side wings were added shortly after. The main building is of an early Victorian Georgian style. It was a dairy farm homestead and the gardens and outbuildings are also heritage listed. (McDonald McPhee Pty Ltd, 1991)
