​How to print from a laptop or home PC

  1. Prepare your document for printing or select the URL of a web page you want printed
  2. Select one of the following library links
    (HINT: choose the library most convenient for you to collect your printing from, check library locations and hours)
  3. Select black & white (20 cents/A4 single sided page)
     OR
    colour (40 cents/A4 single side page)
  4. Enter your email address
  5. Select file to print (use the Browse button) or enter URL
  6. Click the arrow button to continue
  7. To approve your print job click the Printer Icon when it turns green
  8. Document Status - Your job has been processed. This indicates your job is ready at the Self Service Station at the library you selected. (If you are using your laptop in the library it can take several minutes for your print job to be available for printing)
  9. Cash is required to release your print job
  10. Visit the library you selected. At the 'Self Service Station'select 'Release print job' and enter your email address
Processed print jobs will be held for printing for 3 days

How to print from your mobile device

  1. Download the PrinterOn app

    Compatible with Android  (Requires Android 3.0 and up)
     
  2. Open the app and choose what you want to print - Documents, Photos or Web
  3. Tap 'No Printer Selected' to select a printer, enter Wollongong in the search box
    (This will find ALL seven Wollongong City Libraries branches)
  4. Select your library and printing option (black & white OR colour) from the list

    black & white (20 cents/A4 single sided page) OR colour (40 cents/A4 single side page)

  5. Enter your email address
  6. Wait until 'Job success'  status is displayed
    This indicates your job is ready at the Self Service Station at the library you selected
    (If you are using your device in the library it can take several minutes for your print job to be available for printing)
  7. Cash is required to release your print job
  8. Visit the library you selected
    At the 'Self Service Station' select 'Release print job' and enter your email address

    Processed print jobs will be held for printing for 3 days
