Book Week

On the Friday immediately before the start of Book Week the winning and honour books of the Children's Book of the Year Awards are announced, and certificates, medallions and monetary prizes are made to the authors and illustrators of these books. This is usually the third Friday in August. More information is available on the Children's Book Council of Australia Web site.
