Wollongong City Library collects books in nine world languages:

- Greek
- Italian
- Macedonian
- Portuguese
- Serbian
- Spanish
- Vietnamese
Newspapers and magazines are also available in more than 20 languages.
If you would like to read items in a language not listed above staff may be able to arrange a loan from the State Library for you.
