Project Update

Works are progressing well on the Town Hall. The new main entry structure is taking shape, with steel framing and concrete completed and roofing works under way. The new lift structure is also complete, this lift will improve access from the entry lobby to the mezzanine and it's associated facilities.

There has also been a lot of work completed behind the scenes

• The fire services upgrade works are well advanced
• New air-conditioning plant has recently been installed
• Internal finishes trades are continuing including plastering, painting and tiling.

The fences will remain up for the project duration. These fences are necessary to separate the construction access to the site from the general public.

Once Refurbishments are Complete

Council is currently pulling together feedback from a recent industry and community stakeholder consultation, which will inform the final decision making regarding the future operation of the Town Hall.
