Greenplan provides a wide range of ground covers, grasses, trees and shrubs indigenous to the Wollongong area. 

Plants

Plants are available to Wollongong City Council ratepayers with an annual opportunity to purchase them at a minimal cost.

• 140mm pots - $6.50 each 
• 200mm pots - $9 each 
• Specialty items may be available with prices as marked

These prices are correct for the 20011-12 financial year.

There is a limit of 25 plants per property each financial year.

Greenplan plants can be purchased from the Wollongong Botanic Garden nursery on the third Friday of every month from 7.30am and 2.30pm (excluding public holidays). A receipt will be supplied.

Additional plants may be purchased on our Greenplan Sale days where ratepayers can purchase up to 50 plants per property. Please ensure you bring your rates notice to every plant sale day as a proof of Wollongong City Council residency.

Worm Farms and Compost Bins

Worm farms and compost bins are available for purchase from the Greenplan Nursery on the third Friday of the month or on Greenplan Sale days. Worm farms are $79 and compost bins are $37. These prices are effective for the 2011-12 financial year.
