This year the World Wide Fund for Nature is celebrating 10 years of Earth Hour. What started as an Aussie grassroots movement has grown into the world’s biggest movement for climate change.

On Saturday 25 March between 8.30 and 9.30pm people and businesses around the world will be switching off all non-essential lighting and electrical equipment, including televisions and computers.

Wollongong City Council will be turning off all non-essential lighting and electrical equipment at it's facilities too.

You can also "SWITCH OFF" and host your own event by candlight! It's easy to do and fun too. Register your own event and find out more at www.earthhour.org.au
