Proposed Licence on Community Land - Russell Vale Community Hall

Council is proposing to grant a new Licence to Pukapuka Community Wollongong Inc. for Russell Vale Community Hall located at 36A Keerong Avenue, Russell Vale, NSW 2517, Part Lot 2, DP 737349.

The licence will permit use of the facility for the physical, cultural, social and intellectual welfare or development of individual members of the public, including the hiring of specified rooms.  The proposed Licensee will also be required to manage and operate the building on behalf of Council as a community facility available for hire and use by other groups and individuals.

The proposed Licence term is 1 year.

Pursuant to Chapter 6 Part 2 of the Local Government Act 1993, Council is required to advertise the proposed licence as it is located on Community land.

Submissions are sought from the public and should be in writing quoting Council’s reference number 27621126.

Any submissions should be clearly outlined and based on the effect of granting the licence will have on the existing or future use of the Community Land.
