Pool Booking FAQs

When your booking is confirmed, you’ll get an email with details you need to know before you swim. Please make sure you also read the conditions of entry when you arrive at the pool.

We’ve also included answers to some common questions below.

Bookings have been put in place to help us support social distancing, meet COVID-safe guidelines, and provide fair and equal access to our pools across the busy summer period.

Bookings will be available for up to a week in advance. Available time slots will be shown on our booking system.

Pools will be closed for 15 minutes between sessions so we have time to spot clean the pool area before the next lot of bookings arrive.

Entry to the pool will be allowed up to 20 minutes before the end of a session. For example, if you've booked the first session, you must enter the pool by 7.25am at the latest.

If you don’t see any pools listed when you click to Book a Swim, try adjusting the date fields at the top of the screen. Dates that are fully booked will be crossed out.

To make the most of your swim time, we encourage you to arrive at your booked start time.

No new bookings or entries will be allowed within the last 20 minutes of each session.

You can book up to one week ahead.

Each Monday we will open bookings for the following week. If the date you want isn’t showing up yet, please check back again during the week.

Booking is free.

There is currently no entry fee at any of our outdoor pools.

This is just pre-set wording in our booking system. Don’t worry, you won’t be charged or asked to enter any payment details.

You can book for up to a total of 6 people.

Children under the age of 11 must be accompanied by an adult over 16 years of age.

Please note: everyone in your booking needs to arrive and enter the pool at the same time.

There will be a limit on the number of people allowed at the pool at one time, and this will be different for each pool. The online system will only accept bookings up to this maximum number.

You need to be fully vaccinated to swim if you’re over 16 years old.

You will need to confirm that you are fully vaccinated (two doses of an approved COVID-19 vaccine) when booking, and show proof of your vaccination to enter the pool.

People under 16 years old do not need to be vaccinated to swim.

No. Our pools will be available for both lap and recreational swimming.

Note that gatherings and sun lounging will not be allowed.

Yes. If you have a season pass or pre-paid pass for Corrimal or Dapto Heated Pools, you will still need to book each time you want to swim.

Then just use your pass as normal each time you visit.

No. Bookings are essential.

If you turn up at the pool and a space is available, you will still need to make a booking to enter the pool.

Anyone who books but does not show up to swim twice will be blocked from making further bookings.

If you’re not going to be able to make your booked time, make sure you call us to cancel so you can continue to make bookings for the swim season!

Yes, toilets, change rooms and showers are open and will be closed at the end of each session for cleaning.

There are limits on the number of people allowed in shower areas at one time. Check signs at the pool for details.

Toddlers’ pools are still open for use. Please note, Dapto toddler pool does not open until December.

When using toddlers' pools, you must follow the relevant pool capacity numbers and follow social distancing rules.
