Settler's Cemetery

The Settler's Cemetery at Kembla Grange is a small site near the corner of Reddalls Road and West Dapto Road. It is no longer an active burial site.

This cemetery has a local heritage listing, and is also known as the Kembla Grange Pioneer Cemetery, or the Kembla Grange Old Cemetery.

Kembla Grange Settler's Cemetery was dedicated in 1904. Inscriptions dating from 1907 to 1967 can still be seen, although many of the graves are unmarked or have fallen into disrepair.

It is believed that use of this site for burials stopped in the 1960s due to soil and drainage issues.

You can read more about this cemetery on the NSW Office of Environment & Heritage website.
