Maintenance scheduled for Holborn Park Skate Plaza

Holborn Skate Plaza in Berkeley will be closed for five days next week for essential maintenance.

The popular skate plaza will be closed from Monday 1 March for required concrete sealing. Depending on weather conditions, it is anticipated to be completed by Friday 5 March.

The plaza features ramps, jumps, quarter pipes, banks, ledges and transitions.

“Since opening in 2015 this plaza has continued to be a great communal space for skateboarders, scooter riders and roller bladers,” Wollongong City Lord Mayor Councillor Gordon Bradbery AM said

“This is one of our city’s most enjoyed and loved skate plazas and it must be maintained. So, this popular space is taking some time out to ensure the surface is kept at a high standard for many years to come.”
