- Plastic Bags, Soft Plastics & Biodegradable Bags
- Polystyrene Foam
- Disposable Nappies & Personal Hygiene Products
- Crockery, Pyrex & Glassware
- Food Soiled Paper & Shredded Paper
- Pet Waste & Kitty Litter
- General Waste that cannot be recycled

- Hot Ashes
- Building Material & Asbestos
- Ink Cartridges
- Medical Waste & Sharps
- Gas Bottles/ Canisters
- Liquids of any kind

What happens to my waste?
Everything in this bin is sent to landfill and nothing is recovered.
What is landfill?
A Landfill Site is a location which has been built and prepared for the purpose of disposing waste. Waste is transported in trucks to landfill sites, where it is dumped and buried under layers of soil to decompose. Some items can up to 1000 years to decompose.
How do i divert my waste from landfill?
- Recycling: Know what can go into your Recycling Bin
- FOGO: Put all your food waste into your FOGO Bin
- Charity: Donate unwanted goods to your local Charity Shop
- Ask a Waste Expert: Send in any waste, recycling and/or reuse questions to our Ask a Waste Expert Form and a waste expert will be in contact within 2 working days.
