Teen Exercise Classes

Beaton Park and Lakeside Leisure Centres offer a wide range of fitness activities suitable for young people aged 12-18 years.

Our 4.30pm classes are convenient for after school training and provide a welcoming and safe environment to exercise. Parents and carers are also invited to participate.

There are a variety of class options including cardio boxing, strength training, cardio and interval training, that will assist in building strength, stability, endurance and injury prevention.

  • $9.10 per class (free for members)
  • Option of 15 visit card for $106 (12 month expiry)
  • Class availability Beaton Park Leisure Centre Monday to Friday, 4.30pm Lakeside Leisure Centre Monday and Wednesday, 4.30pm

Class Description

  • Cardio Boxing Incorporates pad work, boxing combinations and strength and conditioning exercises. Benefit: Boost fitness and improve hand-eye coordination.
  • Interval Training Short and high intensity bursts of activity with periods of rest and recovery. Includes both cardio and strength exercises. Benefit: Improve overall fitness.
  • Strength Training Exercises to improve strength. Benefit: Build strength, stability, endurance and assist with injury prevention.
