Continental Pool
Set on the iconic Blue Mile between Wollongong Harbour and North Beach, this popular swimming spot has a 50m and 45m pool, as well as a toddlers’ pool.
The 45m pool has a ramp entry for people with limited mobility.

The Continental Pool will close for regular cleaning at 9am on Wednesdays.
In late 2025, the pool’s pump and intake system were damaged in a storm, which makes refilling the pool after cleaning slower. We’ve been working to restore the system to normal, but the pool’s unique ocean environment means repairing this system is challenging.
Pool hours may change at short notice if it takes longer than expected to refill the pool after cleaning.

- Supervise children - maintain eye or hand contact at all times
- Swim at a patrolled pool or patrolled beach and follow Lifeguards' directions
- Never swim alone or under the influence of alcohol or drugs
