Download and read new and best-selling books without leaving home!

As a library member, you can download eBooks for free on your computer, tablet, eReader or smartphone. All you need is your library card number and password.

Borrowing an eBook from the library is like borrowing a regular book: there's usually a limited number of copies of each book available at any one time, and items must be returned by a due date.

With BorrowBox, you can reserve or borrow up to eight eBooks at a time. BorrowBox also gives you access to eAudiobooks, newsletters, bonus interviews and author profiles.

The State Library of NSW has rolled out indyreads - an ebook platform with a collection of classic fiction and non-fiction, including modern international and Australian literary classics and prize winners.
