Children's Book Week® has been a fixture of Australia's literary landscape since 1945. Each year the Children's Book Council of Australia (CBCA) highlights the importance of reading by showcasing and celebrating Australian children’s books, authors, and illustrators.
Book Week 2025 - Book an Adventure
Thank you to everyone who participated in the 2025 Book Week Reading Passport Competition!
We were lucky to have seven winners! Congratulations to Bella, Jack, Hannah, Zoey, Maggie, Koa, and Max who all won a special Book Week prize pack for their outstanding efforts in finishing the passports challenges.
Book Week will return 22-28 August 2026 with the theme of 'Symphony of Stories'. Check back soon for more information about what your library will doing to celebrate!
