Wednesday to Sunday for the duration of the Seniors Festival, 9:30am to 3:30pm

Extra volunteer guides will be available to assist in navigating the Museum. Entry for Seniors is at the discounted rate of $15 for the duration of the Seniors Festival.

Garden Buggy Tours

The entire duration of the Senior's Festival, 10am to 12 noon and 2pm to 3pm

Discover the beauty, plant diversity and history of Wollongong Botanic Garden on a guided tour in the electronic buggy with their knowledgeable volunteer guides. No bookings are required.

The buggy tours run daily for the duration of the Seniors Festival. Weekdays between 10am and 12pm and weekends between 2pm and 3pm.

Mindful Colouring at Corrimal Library

Monday, Wednesday and Friday for the duration of the Seniors Festival, 10am to 12 noon

Join us for a relaxing morning of colouring for adults.

Bush Dance Taster (10 March)

Sunday 10 March 2024, 1pm to 4pm

Dancing has been proven to be one of the best ways to keep your body and brain healthy, as well as being great for social connection. Come along for a fun afternoon of easy bush dancing.

Arrive at 1pm for a free lesson. All dances will be walked through before the music starts and then called with the music. You will need to have a moderate level of fitness as this activity involves movement.

Smart casual clothing with comfortable shoes that don’t grip the floor are recommended.

Afternoon tea is provided but your own water bottle is recommended.

Cycling Without Age Illawarra at Towradgi Beach

Come and feel the wind in your hair!

Cycling Without Age Illawarra provide FREE rides on trishaw bikes. Piloted by trained volunteer cyclists the aim is to reduce social isolation and loneliness within the community by providing regular opportunities to enjoy the outdoors and feel the wind in your hair.

Trishaw is designed to allow people with mobility issues to easily access.

Participants must be able to sit in the trishaw and can be accompanied by a carer.

Gateway Life is an Allied Health Facility that offers a fusion of fitness and health services, focused on improving your physical, mental and social wellbeing.

This event is specifically designed for seniors in the Illawarra. The day will be fun, interactive, and informative, with the aim of providing practical ways to foster healthy ageing.

Great coffee and snacks will be available to purchase at our café. PLUS prizes to be won on the day.
