Programs and Events for Young People

Wollongong Youth Centre is closed until further notice in line with new Public Health Orders issued on Saturday 26 June 2021.

Our Youth Services team will be available by email or phone on (02) 4227 8222 during staffed hours.

We'll update you when we can reopen.

In the meantime, please stay safe and check NSW Health's website for updates.


Online programs

We can't bring you in-person programs while stay at home orders are in place. But we're running some free programs online to keep you entertained and connected.

To access to any of these activities, send us a DM on Facebook, or Instagram, email us, or call (02) 4227 8222  between 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday.

We may ask for a school ID or other information to confirm your age and location.

Get involved in theatre sports, drama activities and performance. Gain skills and confidence through fun and interactive activities.

Guitar 101

Want to play guitar but not sure where to start? Learn the basics and be playing songs before you know it with these online sessions.

Wednesday 3.30 - 4.30pm
The Fine Tune Network

Chime in and chat all things music. Share tracks, review new music, listen to tunes and connect with other music fans.

Wednesday 4.30 - 5.30pm
Teenz Connect

Connect and catch up, plus new activities to get your mind and body moving.

Thursday, 3 - 5pm
Team Ignite

Check in and join conversations about how to boost the music and performance scene for young people in Wollongong, plus learn audio visual skills.

Check out our social channels where we'll be replaying live recordings of local musicians and bands.
