Do you need help with English?
If you don’t speak English well, or at all, you can call the Australian Government’s Translating and Interpreting Service (TIS) on 131 450. State the language of interpreter you need, and ask to be put through to Wollongong City Council on 02 4227 7111.
You will not be charged for this service.
We also have staff who can speak several community languages and may be able to help you when you're dealing with Council. Visit our Language Help page for details.
People with hearing or speech impairment
If you are d/Deaf, hard of hearing, or have a speech/communication difficulty please contact us through the National Relay Service (NRS) by:
- Step 1 - Contact us through your preferred NRS call channel detailed on NRS call numbers and links
- Step 2 - Provide the NRS with Council's phone number (02) 4227 7111.
