About Hayley Scrivenor

Hayley Scrivenor is an Australian author, known for her debut novel Dirt Town (published as Dirt Creek in the US). She has a PhD in Creative Writing from the University of Wollongong and currently lives on Dharawal country. Dirt Town was a #1 Australian bestseller and has been translated into multiple languages.

About Vanessa McCausland

Vanessa McCausland is an internationally published author of five contemporary fiction books. She writes literary mystery/book club fiction with a strong sense of place. Her third novel, The Beautiful Words was shortlisted for the 2022 Davitt Awards for crime writing.Her latest book, The Last Illusion of Paige White, has been named a New York Times Best Thriller of 2025.
