Hear firsthand from family members and friends of long-term missing persons as they share their deeply personal stories of loss, resilience and hope.
Hosted by the Centre for Missing Persons (Aust) Inc., this open discussion and Q&A offers a rare opportunity to hear directly from those most affected. Learn about their ongoing journeys to find answers and discover how the Centre supports families through advocacy, guidance and connection.
Panel members include:
- Nikii Smith, whose father Ray Speechley has been missing since 7 July 2016 at age 77.
- Faye and Mark Leveson, whose son Matt Leveson went missing on 23 September 2007 at age 20 and was found murdered in 2017.
- Kevin Docherty, twin brother of Kay Docherty, missing since 27 July 1979 at age 16.
- Mindy Wicks, whose friend Rachelle Childs went missing on 8 June 2001 at age 23 and was found murdered later that year.
- Joan Taniane, whose son Daniel Stort has been missing since 5 July 2015 at age 27.
