Course outline

The outline below includes the topics, content and resources for a 40-minute session, and the estimated time to be spent on each topic.

Some items are marked as optional (o), and can be left out depending on the needs and interests of the audience.  Suggested considerations include:

  • Spend more time on key messages and skip optional (o) sections for students from CALD communities, such as Cringila Public School.
  • For students who surf a lot with their families, such as Coledale Public School, you might be able to move faster through some topics, and spend more time on 'Black and White Flags'.
