Crown Street Mall is a pedestrian area, and there are restrictions on vehicles to keep people safe.
Vehicle entry permits for Globe Lane can be arranged for vehicles servicing properties in Crown Street Mall and Globe Lane. This could include emergency trade work, construction, special events, cash handling or other deliveries.

Waste from businesses
As a business owner or operator, you are responsible for waste generated by your business. You need to make sure it is collected by a commercial waste provider and disposed of properly.
Council looks after public garbage bins throughout the CBD. These are strictly for public use, and should not be used to dispose of business waste.
If you notice a problem with public bins, please call (02) 4227 7111 during business hours or report it to us online.
If you need to use part of the Mall for construction or other works like installing a new sign or shop front, you must get approval from the City Centre Management team first. Email or call them on (02) 4227 7111 for assistance.

Crown Street Mall is home to regular markets that feature local fresh produce, handmade and creative products and unique, quality pieces.

Crown Street Mall is a great place to hold an event, performance, fundraising activity or promotion for your business.
The Mall features a small stage and expansive paved areas that are open to the public both day and night. We welcome and encourage a range of activities in the Mall, including events, festivals, performances, promotions, and fundraising activities.
